VW Beetle (Bug) Sliding Ragtop Sunroof kit

Our Volkswagen vintage Beetle sliding ragtop sunroofs are designed to fit all type 1 Volkswagen Beetles. The finished top (measured from the top when closed and latched) measures approximately 39" Wide X 43" long. Our paintable FIBERGLASS outer shell allows us to fit the contour of the roof perfectly allowing installation of our sliding ragtop in the VW Beetle and can even be molded into the roof for a seamless original look. This kit also allows a very similar look and feel of the originally equipped sliding sunroof Beetles. (Fits Super Beetle & Mexican Beetle Up to 2012)

While our sliding ragtop kit for Volkswagen Beetles emulates the size, style and shape of the original, it does not duplicate the parts or engineering of the factory units. We designed our kit to be functional and value priced. When the sliding ragtop kit is closed and latched, it looks the same as an original unit in terms of size, shape and placement. When it's open, you will notice that our rail system is totally different, simple and functional. Either way, you get the same awesome look of a sliding ragtop and the same amount of sunshine.
 

 

Warranty

Our full line of Legacy Products Sliding Ragtops is covered under our 1 year warranty to be free from defects in workmanship and materials. Legacy Products’ obligation is limited to repair or replacement at Legacy Products discretion. Legacy Products Warranty does not cover any costs incurred due to the installation or removal of products, freight costs, rental vehicles, or incidental or associated costs. Warranty does not cover incorrect installations, abuse or neglect.
